NLP Train the Trainer

Between one to two years with an appointed training provider.

50 % academic 50% practical.

Mentoring throughout.

Permitted use of the coat of arms of the IBPDA on certification.

The IBPDA NLP Train the Trainer programme is a very demanding process. This is specially designed to be an in-depth course, tailored to the individual, not a “one size fits all” program. It recognises that each person is different and that training in NLP involves many skills successfully developing at the same time. As such the IBPDA NLP Train the Trainer course can last between one and two years with an appointed training provider.

The course is 50% academic and 50% practical. At each stage of the training, an in depth understanding of NLP skills needs to be demonstrated and some practical evidence of this must be shown.  The idea is to develop rigorous academic skills and move away from just re-hashing what other people in the field have already said. To be recognised as an expert in the field of NLP takes a lot of hard work.

The theory of NLP is only half of the equation. To be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to deliver, design and conduct multi level trainings consistently is of the utmost importance. Throughout the instruction, you will be encouraged to show everything that you have learnt and in some instances, this will be delivering in front of your peers and other live groups. Training for live groups is a different skill and the IBPDA NLP Train the Trainer is the only training program like this to evaluate and test in this manner.

Also included in the training is an Individual Mentoring Plan.

To train as an IBPDA Trainer you will need to fill out an application form, demonstrate your understanding of NLP and be successful in an interview.

Training Providers’ Certification

If you are a training provider and would like to certify your students under the rigorous standards of the IBPDA, then the first stage is a written application. If the application is accepted, a fee to cover the cost of further assessment will then be required.

An interview will be arranged followed by the assessment of your training materials and one of our trained assessors will attend one of your courses. You will receive both written and verbal feedback.

Once accepted as a recognised provider you undertake to be reassessed once every 18 months  and be able to prove Continual Personal Development (CPD.)
